Dear Ludy family: For several years now I have
looked forward to following your website at this time of year. I
enjoy and appreciate very much all the work you do to entertain
us. It just feels good to watch the videos, they are very cool.
Thank you very much. I know your light shows are enjoyed
by many of us. They are truly amazing. God Bless, and thank you

I have lived in the Cottonwood Plantation
subdivision for 13 year and I do not have a problem with the
traffic during the holiday season. I proudly promote
having the subdivision with the best light display in Columbus,
GA. I LOVE IT... Much Kudos to you and your family for a
job well done. Keep the Christmas spirit alive. The

Hi, I'm Malia's sister-in-law and I live in
Baltimore, MD. I saw the pictures of your Christmas
Display last year and thought it was wonderful. I hope
your neighbors will all agree with your requests in the latest
newsletter to help you make this year even bigger and better and
with more control over traffic. I shared last year's
pictures with some of my friends and thought that you would like
to know that your marvelous hard work has been viewed as far
away as Hawaii, Nova Scotia, Florida and New England. This
year, please let me know how I can again have access to some
pictures that I can share with your many fans around the
country. Sincerely, J. Blume |

Saw the house the other night. I don't get
out much BUT that was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
My wife and kids LOVED it. It was 10:15pm and there was
still a line of cars. Bobby Cochran |

What a special Christmas tradition. My wife and I
marveled tonight at the work that must go into doing this for
people that you don't even know. My 11 year old son, Keith, was
full of questions. The radio transmitter baffled him. We are
seasoned light show visitors but yours was awesome. The songs
just kept coming. We didn't want to leave but we had to make
room for others. Thank you very much. Merry
Christmas and may God bless you and yours, The Pridgens |

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for the
wonderful joy you brought to my children. We heard about
your display for the first time this year and we only live a
half mile from you. We drove by after church and my children
(especially my four year old daughter) were amazed (as were my
wife and I) at the display. I know that it must have taken
many hours and a lot of heart to construct it and we appreciate
the time and effort your family has put into the display.
My daughter wants to come back and see it again so, we will be
stopping by Friday night Dec 22 so she can see the show and
Santa. Once again thank you very much for putting that joy
in our family and all that you have done with your display. May
God bless your family throughout the holiday season. The

Our family stopped by your home last (Monday,
December 18) night and had such a wonderful time. It was
just spectacular and my children (ages 3 and 2) thoroughly
enjoyed themselves as did my husband and I. I have always
enjoyed Christmas and all the decorations and activities
that go along with it and now that I have my boys I am sure
to include them in everything that I can find. Thank you
for all that your family does to show such true Christmas
spirit and most importantly for remembering and sharing THE
REASON FOR THE SEASON as so many people have forgotten.
God Bless Always, Tanya M.

Hello Ludy Family. Greetings from Saint
Simons Island Georgia. And THANK YOU for your Christmas
Spirit. You warmed my heart and made me hopeful. You made
me smile from ear to ear. You made me teary eyed at the
thought of Christmas as a child and the excitement of the
lights... all those feelings that sadly as adults we forget
so easily. You brought all that back to me and more. THANK
YOU. Let me tell you how I grew up celebrating
Christmas. It wasn't about gifts, there were never any
gifts for any of us. We knew that Christmas eve Baby Jesus
was born and came to see us in our sleep. We also knew that
we would see all of our family for a celebration with tons
of delicious food. Gifts?? No, no gifts, we never knew of
any gifts, thus we did not miss them.
My father was not a wealthy man by any means,
but we had everything and more. He always cut a tree, and
we painted it... it was not your normal pine looking tree.
It was more like a branch... and we painted it either gold
or silver and we made all the decorations. None were saved,
we made new ones every year. Now that I'm an adult, I
still love Christmas, more so since my child was born 14 yrs
ago... one difference is THE GIFTS... I love giving gifts
and wrapping them... and I still love Christmas lights, even
more... and I love people like you who never forgot that
special feeling I so much remember. I get excited about
Santa and I can't wait for Christmas eve. I don't like
shopping, but I manage to buy gifts for everyone. Internet
is wonderful! THANK YOU THANK YOU You made
me so very happy and hopeful. You gave me one of the most
special gifts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
P.S. by the way, we are huge fans of the Trans-Siberian
Orchestra, so your music was very much familiar to us and we
just loved the show. The Gambles on St.Simons Island

We stopped by
today just to see the lights. Little did we know this was
the same house we heard about on the radio a few weeks ago.
Knowing that this is a wonderful act of random kindness and
hearing (on the radio) that the expense of your bill is so
high this time of year we tried to make a donation today. I
was amazed that it was refused. Our 5yr old son
exclaimed as we pulled up "I think that Santa really lives
here" He was convinced that it was the real Santa tonight
rather than just a Santa Helper. And on top of it all he
got a candy cane. You made a little boys night tonight.
Ah, to be little and believe in such magic and to have the
littlest things mean the world. Thanks for letting us
stop. Merry Christmas. The Markham Family
